Flat Bar

What is Flat Bar? Where is it Used?

Flat Bar and silme irons, which have a wide range of applications, are produced in various sizes based on width and thickness measurements using hot or cold-rolled raw materials in S235JR (ST37), S275JR (ST44), and S355JR (ST52) grades.

Lama and silme irons, which are essential building materials needed in many areas of production, are categorized into two separate types based on surface variations: cold surface and hot surface. In production processes that require surface precision, cold surface lamas are typically preferred. Additionally, depending on the raw material quality, both hot and cold lamas can vary in flexibility and strength.

Generally, hot lamas are produced in 6-meter lengths, while cold lamas are produced in 3-4 or 6-meter lengths. However, lama and silme irons can be manufactured in various lengths depending on specific size requirements.

Lama Iron Production Range:

Width: From 10 mm to 150 mm

Thickness: From 6 mm to 40 mm
